About Camp Laughing Grass
Camp Laughing Grass is a cannabis-friendly 21+ camping ground nestled in 17 acres of luscious private wooded wetlands along Crooked River in Harrison, Maine. Located just minutes from the Naples Causeway, Bridgeton and Long Lake, the camp has 13 rentable sites, ranging from primitive camping grounds to rustic, two-person cabins to luxurious glamping tents. With its tranquil surroundings and incredible scenery, Camp Laughing Grass offers the ultimate Maine camping experience—with a unique ‘Laughing Grass’ twist.
The river at the camp is slow-moving and shallow (perfect for beginners!), and has access for canoeing, kayaking, fishing, swimming and floating. The camp is equipped with kayaks, canoes, fishing gear, floaties, and of course, life jackets—all that is missing is you! Come float along the river with us and see the beauty that Maine has to offer. In addition to activities on the river, we have hiking & biking trails and outdoor games like Cornhole, Yardzee, and Horseshoes. The camp is filled with thoughtful amenities and fun group activities. Rooms are provided with snacks and smoking apparatuses, and the center of the camp has a covered pavilion with picnic tables. Meet others at the camp, join us for meals and make memories to last forever.
Camp Laughing Grass has faced some struggles in our journey (including being sued by the town in which we were formerly located!) Despite these setbacks, we have grown and are flourishing. A pioneer in the cannabis-friendly industry, she has been written about multiple times in local & national press (including an appearance on the Boston Mike & Mike Radio Show), and is looking forward to coverage by a major news affiliate this summer at camp! This summer will be Camp Laughing Grass’ 3rd season, and it promises to be our best one yet. We are so excited for you to join us!
